DEAL Communication Centre is a small but very active independent AAC centre based in Melbourne, Australia. We offer assessment and therapy services to children and adults with complex communication needs resulting from any cause. In addition to providing hands-on services we engage in research, advocacy and national and international consultancies.

We realise that AAC specialists can come from the ranks of many different disciplines, and we're not being prescriptive. We're looking a therapist or special educator with extensive AAC experience for a one-year part-time appointment starting in October 2010 with the possibility of renewal. Salary will be negotiated according to qualifications and experience. Salary packaging is available.

Professionals with an extensive AAC background interested in full-time work or a later starting date are also encouraged to apply.
